HALF DAY/ 3 HR WORKSHOP @ OUR CAIRNS STUDIO
These half day classes are perfect for small and large groups or tailored one on one screenprinting tuition with a focus on DIY water based screenprinting for the home studio setting. Participants will learn how to coat their screen with photographic emulsion and create a stencil by exposing their design onto the silkscreen using a UV exposure lamp or solar exposure (weather permitting). Once the stencil has been created, participants will practice screenprinting onto paper before printing their design onto a provided T-shirt. The 3 hour session is a great team building activity and can include activities such as printing t-shirts with your own team or business logo.

This class introduces the basics of DIY screenprinting using photographic emulsion stencils. The workshops are informal and relaxed with an emphasis on sharing the creative potential of the screenprinting process. This half day workshop runs on Saturdays and includes all materials (including a t-shirt or tote bag to take home).
